System Upgrade

Due to increased usage and demand on the network, we asked for and were granted money by the City to upgrade the network. Thank you City of Milpitas ! You might experience some network slowness and/or outages as we replace equipment to increase capacity on the network. This will start on Tuesday, August 23. Click here for details.

Community Meeting (May 2010)

We had a good turn out and a good discussion in the lastest community meeting. We met in the Milpitas City Hall committee room at 6:30 and talked about issues pertaining to city wide WiFi as well as the Milpitas network. We were able to share some data about the number of users and the amount of data going across the network. The trends are very exciting and show strong support for this public resource. Thanks to those who attended and if you weren't able to make it there this time, we hope to see you next time.
